My Havisham's writing about 'The Lady in Red'.

She has taken him from me. She's the reason he left me alone and the reason why my heart has shattered. She enjoys how she's hurt me, she won't let me forget.
They are somewhere together, just the two of them together, smirking and watching me, together, talking and ridiculing me alone together. They are here lingering even when I try to forget them. looking at me.
Did I know her? how did he meet her?
I can't rest, she is here.
Lingers, she lingers always.

Lady in Red - Writing

This is the piece I wrote in reaction to my vision of the Lady In Red...

That God forsaken woman dances a feverish quick step through my dreams, pathing her own way down into hell. Each step she takes drags this cobwebbed and moth eaten veil a little further over my sunken face. My face that was once filled with the innocent, trembling joy and trepidation of a young bride. It is her doing, it is all her doing. That disenchated temptress, rotten, red lips and white, shining teeth cutting through a rotten, red apple. Not hers to have. How dare he do this to me, I gave him my all, every inch, every part. He discarded me, he chose her. She was his decision, she ripped him away.

Gormenghast

A little taster of 'Gormenghast'...Pete's got the DVD so I'll bring it in and perhaps we can watch it at some point.

Introduction Draft

Heres the short extract that Kyli, Bry and I created today in rehearsal:

"Lingering in limbo,
Loitering in the past.
Time stands still.
Decaying and frayed,
Captured by her memories.
Unable to escape their tormenting clutches,
She sits in dust.
We wait.
A draped table cluttered with trappings of a promising day."
